Low Intensity Residential Services

Low Intensity Residential Treatment Services 3.1 is a service that consists of residential housing, low intensity level recovery of substance abuse. The program provides clinically-managed, low intensity, substance-related disorder treatment designed to assist the person toward:

*Preventing relapse

*Applying recovery skills

*Reintegrating into the community

The program includes case management to arrange, link or integrate multiple services as well as assessment and reassessment of the recipient's needs for services, benefits, community resources, and monitors the provision of services The agency will not serve individuals with a primary diagnosis of mental illness or intellectual/developmental disability. The authorization of services is dependent on the member meeting the ASAM guidelines for treatment at each authorization request.

Program Provides:

*Medication management

*On-call and emergency response

*A part-time facility director on-site 20 hours per week

*A clinical supervisor approved by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists

*A licensed or certified counselor on-site 40 hours per week

*Peer support staff

*At one direct care staff on duty, overnight staff
